The terraces at Vall Amagada wrap around the hotel and open into the valley. Every corner has its own light, its own pace, and its reason to sit down.

The principal terrace is the heart of it. A generous open space with a 10 by 15 metre stretch tent for shade, where mornings start, evenings linger, and nothing feels rushed.

LOCAL LEGEND CAFE

  • Crafting a rural boutique hotel in Catalunya

Our Local Legend Cafe began as a simple idea: A good coffee stop for cyclists passing through the valley. It has since become something more. Served from the cycling basement beneath the hotel, it is a natural gathering point before a morning ride, during a midday break, or after a long day in the saddle. Specialty coffee, homemade cakes, and the kind of unhurried atmosphere that makes it very easy to stay for one more cup.

PÉTANQUE COURT

  • Historic Catalan watermill and masia heritage

There is something about a pétanque court under old trees that needs little explaining. The pace slows, someone pours a drink, and the afternoon takes on a different shape altogether. At Vall Amagada, it sits within the grounds as a quiet invitation to slow all the way down.

Open to all guests. Boules provided. Results are unofficial and disputes are warmly encouraged.
